custodianSo I've seen 2.03, and I think I need to have a moment of writerly squee.

ridikuluss and damalan and I think tanarian, mainly) know, I've been writing some expansion material for "Montmartre" to fill in the gaps. In particular, I've been chugging away at a (so far) 3k word thing explaining who Jean-Alexis Courdray was, and what his relationship was to Jack Harkness.
So I'm watching 2.03, and they're talking about WWI, and I'm thinking to myself, "Oh, this is so good. I'm writing this period right now. OMG, they're bitching about Haig. Very, very, very cool." Just really eating it up, right?
And then Jack drops the bomb that he was at the Somme.
I look at my jump drive, I look at the screen, I look at my jump drive again.
I'm not sure what the opposite of being Jossed would be called, but it feels fantastic. I feel beyond awesome. I feel...well, I feel like I need a serious-ass trip to the library so I can finish getting my details together before I beg for some beta-fu. Because seriously. I am vibrating with happy writer vibes right now.
